Friends of Goosehill (FOG), Who We Are

We are a friendly group of parents with the common aim of supporting the school. Our new Chair is Mr C Oakton, Vice Chair Mrs R Branson, Secretary Mrs J Hodgson, Vice Secretary Mrs A Vorswinkel, Treasurer Mrs C Urwin and Shadow Treasurer is Mrs S Edwards.

Our Purpose

Our goal is to help raise money to buy items from the school’s dream list, such as new iPads, reading books or other items that will significantly benefit the children and staff of Morpeth First School.

We hold regular meetings to plan fundraisers or special occasions for the children, such as the Christmas and Summer Fayre. Our meetings are open to anyone who wishes to help or to come and socialise with other parents from the school. We love to see new faces… and it’s always nice to have a chat together over a cuppa!

If you wish to help out in any way, big or small, please come along to a meeting or send an email to admin@morpethfirst.northumberland.sch.uk with your ideas and opinions.
Latest News

At present we are in the planning stages of the Christmas Fayre for the children on 1st December. We have two upcoming meetings and would be delighted to welcome anyone who can give a little of their time. These are on Wednesday November 15th at 9am in the resources room (come via the main office) for organisation of the stalls and on Monday November 27th at 9am to help with last minute preparation jobs, such as present wrapping or making up hampers.

If you would like to help, but are unable to make the meetings, please email using the above email address.
